As you’re probably tired of hearing, new legislation comes into effect as of 25th May 2018.
In line with this, we have produced clear procedures for collecting data. Our data is stored according to how you sign up to hear from us.
TRA members – stored in a database on a secure server.
People who contact us in need of help – your data may be passed on to a relevant department in DMBC with your express permission and will be stored securely only for the amount of time that your case is open. After this, your data will be destroyed.
More information on data storage for TRAs and those who contact us in need of help can be found in our updated Data Protection Policy.
Members of the Public – data held only on interests.me (unless you are a TRA member who has given permission for your data to be stored along with the rest of the group) and used solely for sending Dudley Federation e-newsletters via interests.me.
If you have any questions, or would like your data deleted, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
