As a tenant in social housing, your home is more than just bricks and mortar, it’s your sanctuary.

That’s why Dudley Council carry out regular checks to ensure your property remains safe, secure, and up to standard. But they can only do that with your help.

The inspections help the Council:

· Identify and fix safety issues like faulty wiring, damp, or structural problems.

· Ensure compliance with the Decent Homes Standard.

· Plan future improvements to heating, insulation, and energy efficiency.

· Protect your health and wellbeing by spotting hazards early.

Over 2,600 homes in Dudley haven’t yet been inspected due to access issues.
